Other Activities

  • Rugs Ministry outreach
  • Comfort teddies
  • Prem baby clothes
  • Scarves and beanies for the homeless and seafarers
  • Made recipe folders
  • Kitchen packs
  • Gave copies of ‘The Five Love Languages’ for those about to be married
  • Laminated recipe books for a local women’s Tarrengower Prison which hopefully will lead to visits and possibly literacy support

Support received from outside the diocese after wide-spread floods

  • Melbourne Diocese sent us a special replacement Bible, new items of clothing, sewing kits and mosquito repellent which were distributed widely.
  • AC Disaster Fund assisted with $1500 to purchase mosquito repellent packs for this recent summer which were all distributed through all areas.
  • With support from AC we are currently in the process of identifying ways of supporting men from three flooded areas by facilitating an activity which offers a break from their home environment.
